Repair for 90 Urban Village Offices Must Be Priority

City Council Commission A instructs 90 urban village offices in the capital that are damaged and has not met standard become particular concern.

The repair for urban village office must be a priority in accordance with Jakarta 2013-2017 mid-term regional development plan (RPJMD).

"Currently, there are 90 urban villages damaged. Even some of them cannot be used anymore. It must be particular concern," said Syarif, Secretary of City Council Commission A, Tuesday (11/15). 

According to him, if the condition is ignored, the RPMJD that has been set will not be met. On that basis, the renovation budget must be proposed through and Jakarta Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda).

"Certainly, the commission A wants all urban villages that are far from standard to be budgeted," he stated.

He also asked all officials houses of village chief to be rechecked. Considering, based on the findings in the field, there are many official houses empty.
